Two independent environmental scientists, Andre Menache, director of consumer protection organisation Antidote Europe, and Dr Victoria Martindale, an environmental campaigner, raise concerns about a chemical substance in the PIP industrial grade silicone, that could potentially harm foetal development.

Without wishing to cause women any further angst, and we must remember that these concerns are purely opinion based with no scientific basis, surely the existence of this toxic substance is enough to warrant further investigation – and a programme of mass implant removal/replacement.
